CrossFit is a core strength, conditioning and intensity program that takes 9 fundamental functional movements available to all human beings and turns them into physical fitness tasks while adding varying degrees of intensity. Natural movements include pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying and sprinting. The key to CrossFit is the amount of variety that goes into each days workout routine and things never seem to get boring. This provides for all types of creative workouts that include power, strength, coordination, agility, endurance, flexibility, stamina and balance. But it is not easy and it is totally up to you as to how hard you plan to push yourself for the results you are looking to achieve.
CrossFit is great for everyone and for any fitness level, from the beginner to the overweight, at a safe pace and level that is right for that person. CrossFit contains many elements that are associated with track & field, weightlifting, gymnastics, and strongman exercises which have been combined into a short intense daily workout routines that will maximize the results for any person and leave them exhausted.
